BUTLER’S PANTRY - Design & Project Management
This sweet family found their forever home - almost perfect, except for a too-narrow kitchen and a front room that never quite made sense. After studying the flow, the solution became clear: transform that unused front room into a spacious, functioning pantry. The change solved the layout challenges, and created a new jewel-box design focal point within the home. We were also able to accommodate “mudroom nooks” for the kids.
The pantry itself became a study in refined contrasts. Deep salmon-pink walls set a moody yet feminine tone, paired with dark, dramatic quartzite. Brass accents - from shelf rails to hardware - add warmth and polish, complimented by soft wall sconces and accent lighting for a gentle glow. A reclaimed transom brought a touch of local history.
